Last Saturday, twelve members visited the Nunnery Gallery. There was an ‘open house’ which meant the whole building was open to the public and resident artists were on site in their studios to show and talk about their work. The building itself has a very interesting history (which is still being explored) and some original features still remain. There was also an exhibition some of their work in the gallery itself.

We are delighted to announce the next full programme of walks and gallery visits for September/October. All events are £10, no refunds.

The sessions for September/October will launch on Thursday 20th August 2026 from 10.00
All of our walks/gallery visits have proved very popular and been fully booked almost as soon as advertised. So don't delay book up on launch day. There will of course be waiting lists for each session.
As members of Newham U3A you can access all the free events, workshops and talks covering a host of different subjects offered by the National U3A trust.
