Exciting News for Green Thumbs!

We’re thrilled to announce that our Newham-U3A gardening group has been offered a plot in the beautiful community garden in Forest Gate!

Starting Spring 2025, we’ll be rolling up our sleeves and working together to create a vibrant space filled with life, colour, and greenery.Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just looking to try something new, we’d love for you to join us on this rewarding journey.

Walks and Visits Programme

Here is the programme of walks and gallery visits for June. (The programme can be found here for here for May.)  All events are £10, no refunds. The sessions from June will launch on Thursday 21st May 2026

The programme for this and all future events can be found on the events page of the website.

(Please note the walk that was taking place on 22nd May has changed to 26th May due to the proposed tube strikes.) There are also few places left for 12th May Albertopolis walk and V&A gallery visit with Marilyn Greene. Information and links can be found on the events page (as above)

All of the walks/gallery visits have proved very popular and been fully booked almost as soon as advertised. So don't delay booking. There will of course be waiting lists for each session.

Please remember that the London Region events team cannot book or reserve places on your behalf.
