Craft Club

Newham u3a Craft Group; a friendly space to get creative, learn from each other and enjoy a good chat while we make things with our hands.

What’s it all about?

This group is an opportunity to try or refine skills such as:

  • Knitting
  • Sewing
  • Embroidery
  • Crochet

Whether you are a complete beginner, a bit rusty, or already confident, you can choose which craft you want to explore. Bring along a project you are working on, something you would like to start, or just come and see what others are doing for inspiration.

When & where

  •       Date: Friday 27th February 2026
  • Time: 2.00 pm – approximately 4.00 pm
  • How often: Weekly (2-hour sessions)
  • Location: A member’s home in Forest Gate (full address will be provided to those who sign up)

Interested in joining?
If you would like to come along, please reply to this email, groups@newham-u3a.org.uk, to register your interest. Numbers will be limited, so early replies are very welcome.

As this group will be held in a member’s home, we kindly ask everyone to show appropriate respect for the space, treating their home, neighbours and belongings with care and consideration.

We hope this will be a warm, relaxed and creative group with a chance to learn, share tips, and maybe even produce a few masterpieces along the way!
