Newham u3a Craft Group; a friendly space to get creative, learn from each other and enjoy a good chat while we make things with our hands.
What’s it all about?
This group is an opportunity to try or refine skills such as:
- Knitting
- Sewing
- Embroidery
- Crochet
Whether you are a complete beginner, a bit rusty, or already confident, you can choose which craft you want to explore.
Bring along a project you are working on, something you would like to
start, or just come and see what others are doing for inspiration.

If you would like to come along, please reply to this email, groups@newham-u3a.org.uk, to register your interest. Numbers will be limited, so early replies are very welcome.
As this group will be held in a member’s home, we kindly ask everyone to show appropriate respect for the space, treating their home, neighbours and belongings with care and consideration.
We hope this will be a warm, relaxed and creative group with a chance to learn, share tips, and maybe even produce a few masterpieces along the way!
