Walking Netball: a lively first outing

Our new Walking Netball group took to the court at Newham Leisure Centre on Friday 25 September. Six Newham u3a members joined Tracey from England Netball and Patsy from GLL for our first session.

The verdict? Good fun, a proper workout and an hour that seemed to fly by. It turns out that walking pace can still keep you on your toes!

Thank you to Tracey and Patsy for making us so welcome.

Fancy giving it a go? Walking Netball meets on Fridays from 11.00 am to 12 noon in the Sports Hall at Newham Leisure Centre. Email groups@newham-u3a.org.uk for the latest booking details.
