The Misanthrope (National Theatre Live)

The Misanthrope (National Theatre Live)

Eight members of the Theatre Group went to Stratford Vue to see the National Theatre production of The Misanthrope, a modern play based on the Moliere masterpiece of the same name. We bent the rules a little as this was the filmed version of the stage play. The play is an interesting but depressing take on the state of the modern world. Not all of us enjoyed it but the performance of the leading actor, Sandra Oh was outstanding. And afterwards a late afternoon meal next door at The Real Greek.
