Nunnery Gallery

Twelve members visited the Nunnery Gallery. There
was an ‘open house’ which meant the whole building was open to the
public and resident artists were on site in their studios to show and
talk about their work. The building itself has a very interesting
history ( which is still being explored) and some original features
still remain. There was also an exhibition some of their work in the
gallery itself.
Last December a group of us visited the Nunnery Art Gallery in Bow.
A return visit has been arranged for Saturday June 21st, as the
Gallery have an open day and there will be an opportunity to see inside
the old building and some of the artist’s studios.
