Newham u3a Helping Hands

We’re putting together a friendly team of members who would be happy to lend a hand occasionally at our monthly meetings, activities and promotional events.

Helping Hands might assist with:

• setting up or packing away the room
• preparing the welcome table and greeting members
• organising tea and coffee
• helping at publicity events
• distributing leaflets and information

There’s no formal rota and no commitment to help every time. We’ll let the team know when help is needed, and you can volunteer whenever the date and task suit you.

There will be different jobs to choose from, including plenty that don’t involve lifting or moving furniture. It’s also a lovely way to get to know other members, have a laugh and be part of the team that keeps Newham u3a running smoothly.

The individual jobs may be small, but they make a very real difference.
