This year's Green Fair is taking place on Sunday 7th June during the Great Big Green Week at Forest Lane Park Sustainable Newham exists to provide coordination and support to people and organisations in Newham who are actively running or planning environmental or sustainability projects On 1 May 2023, Sustainable Newham hosted the first Green Fair in Newham Over 50 community activists and groups, voluntary organisations, musicians, artists, small traders and local businesses came together to showcase initiatives, projects, organisations and businesses that help protect and enhance the environment, create a sustainable community and contribute to social, economic and environmental justice locally and globally It was a fun day out for 1,500 people who shared an interest in green issues They enjoyed workshops and stalls, information and entertainment, food and inspirational talks Check out some of the photos and videos of talks on the gallery pages On 5th May 2025 Sustainable Newham held our third annual Green Fair with over 90 organisations and nearly 2,000 visitors If you are interested in getting involved with this year's Green Fair, then please get in touch
